1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an Atlas account, uploading sources, or otherwise using the Atlas service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

If you are using Atlas on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Use of the service

Atlas is a knowledge mapping and retrieval product. You may use it to upload internal organizational knowledge, browse charted files, query the knowledge atlas, and chat with the Atlas assistant.

You agree not to upload content that you do not have the right to use, to use Atlas to violate any applicable law, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify the Atlas team immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Atlas may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk to other tenants.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the files, signals, and other content you submit to Atlas. You grant Atlas a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the service to you and your tenant.

Atlas processes content using AI models. You acknowledge that AI-generated answers may be incomplete or inaccurate and that you remain responsible for decisions made based on them.

5. Service availability and changes

Atlas is provided on an as-is basis. We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may change features, pricing, or supported integrations as the product evolves.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atlas and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Direct liability is limited to fees paid for the service in the preceding twelve months.

7. Termination

You may stop using Atlas at any time. Atlas may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. On termination, you may request export or deletion of your tenant content within a reasonable period.

1. Data we collect

Atlas stores the account information you provide (email, name, tenant), the source files you upload, the signals and embeddings Atlas extracts from them, and the chat conversations you have with the Atlas assistant.

Atlas also records technical metadata such as timestamps, request identifiers, and processing status to operate and improve the service.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to operate the knowledge map for your tenant, to render search and chat answers, to run the embedding and signal extraction pipelines, and to monitor and troubleshoot the service.

Tenant content is isolated per tenant. Atlas does not use your tenant content to train shared AI models.

3. Sharing and processors

Atlas relies on cloud infrastructure and AI model providers (for example, AWS and Amazon Bedrock) to operate. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.

We do not sell your data and we do not share tenant content with third parties beyond what is required to deliver the service.

4. Retention and deletion

Atlas retains tenant content for as long as your account is active. You may request export or deletion of your tenant content by contacting the Atlas team at the address in the contact section.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data Atlas holds about you. Use the contact details below to make such a request.

6. Security

Atlas uses encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and tenant isolation to protect your data. No system is completely secure; please report any suspected vulnerability to the contact address below.
